Recycling for the Vilonia area is
1st Saturday of each month at the Vilonia Senior Citizens Building

(Please note - if the 1st Saturday falls on a holiday weekend recycling will take place the 2nd weekend of that month)

Recycling Requests

Please separate these items from other items:

1. Newspaper and inserts
2. White paper (non-glossy) – copy paper, index cards, envelopes, notebook paper, etc.
3. Aluminum cans, pie plates, clean foil, preferably crushed
4. Corrugated cardboard:

All other items may be bagged together including:

Magazines, colored paper, metals, telephone directories, plastic narrow-necked bottles #1 or #2, brown bags, chipboard (cereal-type boxes)

ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED

No plastic bags (including Wal-Mart sacks, etc.)
No containers – No Cool Whip butter containers, etc.
No Microwave dishes
No oil, pesticide bottles
No styro-foam
No paper plates
No yard wastes
No paint containers
No batteries
No glass
